Please use the following guidelines for the creation of digital files. Pet Country Magazine will not be responsible for any ads or material which does not meet requirements.

Software Support

Pet Country Magazine supports the following MacIntosh software: InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, and Acrobat 7. Please send original file. Ensure all related files (images, fonts, logos, etc...) are included with the digital file.

Sending Files

Files can be transported by CD-ROM, DVD or uploaded to our DropBox at www.petcountrymag.com. Please email regarding file transfers.

Scans and Graphic Files

All scans must be 300 dpi or greater at 100% size of the required placement. Please crop and size all artwork in an image-editing program such as Photoshop. Line art scans should be at 1200 dpi or higher.

Colours

Ensure that all colours used in files are CMYK only. RGB, Pantone and/or spot colours are NOT accepted and will be converted.

Fonts

All fonts being used need to be provided in MacIntosh format. Only Postscript fonts are accepted and must be supplied with both printer and screen elements. All pdf or illustrator files must have fonts converted to outline.

Printing Specifications

Pet Country Magazine is printed on an off-set press with a 150 line screen and saddle stitched.
